How we got started

MOL Portugal, previously Made of Lisbon, is a Portugal-based, buyers-only Portuguese property advisory company that helps you buy like a local. Founded by Mia & Rafael, MOL Portugal initially started with Rafael helping an overseas friend find the best property deal in Portugal and Mia flipping properties in Portugal as her passion project while juggling her corporate fintech job. They both realized that the traditional setting for property transactions are filled with missing gaps that could prevent potential buyers from getting the 'full picture', making it challenging to make the best decision. The buyers' interests are often overlooked and they knew they had to change that.

Keeping the buyer's interest at heart, MOL Portugal manages the entire process for you. From access to an extensive local network, location advisory and scouting, property search in the entire market, negotiation until renovation, to property management, they’ll guide you every step of the way. With the approach of a 'one point contact' , our clients never have to juggle between different listing agencies, making the connection between architects and contractors, or nusances like trying to find a plumber for their tenants in Portugal all while not even residing in the country.
